SERVICES: Programming, Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Landscape Architecture, Construction Administration, Roof Consulting

PROJECT: ACAI began its relationship with the NSU with the design of its Health Professions Division in its main campus in Davie, Florida.  Slated to grow to 2,000,000 sf by 2020, the original 800,000 sf HPD Campus designed by ACAI is now at  over 1,000,000 sf.  Its latest addition, The Center for Collaborative Research (CCR), is a 216,000 sf state-of-the-art, cooperative interdisciplinary center for medical, pharmaceutical, dental and oceanographic research. Additionally, the campus is awaiting the start of design of a 10-story infill tower followed by another multi-level expansion housing approximately 300,000 square feet of teaching, clinic and research spaces.

Other than Thomas Jefferson who designed the University of Virginia, rarely an Architectural firm has the opportunity to design an entire campus, and similarly to the University of Virginia the design HPD campus is based on the rules and monuments of classical architecture.

HPD campus has been featured  on the 100 Florida Architects and Interior Designers Design Book.
