PROJECT: This project involved extensive remodeling and adaptive re-use of an elementary school of 1970’s vintage and the addition of classroom buildings and core facilities, effectively expanding its total size.  The project is approximately 71,000 gsf and includes special attention to phasing.

Educational specs for the facility include classrooms, administration areas, cafeteria, nurses and custodial areas, rooms for music, art, science, special education, remedial reading, rooms for teaching foreign languages and support facilities including athletic fields, parking, site utilities and physical plant.  The scope included remodeling, new buildings, asbestos Removal and phasing the work around its day-to-day operation and making the facility handicap accessible and ADA compliant.
